This policy governs how ServiceFind creates, reviews, and maintains all editorial content, including guides, cost data, and regulatory information.

Independence

Editorial content is produced independently of commercial relationships. We do not accept payment to create favorable content about any contractor or product. Referral revenue does not influence our editorial output.

Accuracy Standards

• All factual claims — especially cost ranges and regulatory requirements — must be sourced.
• Sources are cited inline or in a sources section on each page.
• Every factual page displays a "Last reviewed" date.
• Cost data is updated at minimum annually or when major market changes occur.
• Regulatory information (licensing, permits) is updated when state law changes.

Prohibited Content

• Fabricated reviews, ratings, or testimonials
• Invented statistics or pricing without a cited source
• Claims of being a direct service provider
• Fake local anecdotes or invented local information
• Doorway pages or spun/duplicate content

Corrections

If you believe any content is inaccurate, please contact us with the specific page URL and the correction. We review all flagged content within 5 business days.

Advertising Disclosure

Any page containing affiliate links or paid placements will display a clear disclosure. Editorial content is never paid for or influenced by advertisers.
